For more than four decades, Seminary Properties and Management, Ltd., has owned and operated rental properties in several neighborhoods in the North side of Chicago, Illinois. Giving back to the community, Seminary Properties and Management, Ltd., provides annual support to several organizations. One of those organizations is the Jewish United Fund (JUF) of Chicago which supports many organzations in and outside of Chicago.
To help residents connect with Jewish life and values, JUF Chicago maintains several initiatives, including Back from Birthright Israel. This program is designed to help Birthright Israel trip alumni connect with their home communities on both a social and professional level.
Since its inception, Birthright Israel trips have sent more than 650,000 young Jewish adults to Israel to learn about the people, history, and culture of the country. Back from Birthright Israel hosts various events and outreach activities to engage trip alumni. Activities include volunteerism and philanthropy in the community.
